i have a 1 year and 4 months old shit zu..i wanted her to get pregnant...she got her 1st heat once and never had it again..why was that?and when she will be having it again?she have it when she was 8 months old..when is the next?

She will come into heat on average every six months. Some dogs sooner, some later. Nine months is not unusual for them to go especially when they are young. But I personally would wait until she is at least two. A more mature mom, physically and emotionally, makes for a better mom and a better litter.
