breeding my siberian husky.

I have a female pure bred Siberian husky and in the future I would like to bred her.  How old should she be the first time I do breed her?

Answer
I would wait until two. Also check into the genetic testing that needs to be done for your breed. I know the usuals should be done, hips, elbows etc. Just to be sure that you are not passing along any unknown genetic flaws and you want to be careful that the male you breed to has had all testing as well and passed the testing.
