age for brreding

hi
i have a patterdale terrier and i am thinking of breeding her as someone said you should let them have a litter before you get them spayed is this right. you is 9 months old and having her first season now, what is the best age to start breeding her should i wait until she is a certain age or is it safe to breed her now, i would be grateful for any advise you could give.

no you dont need to do a litter before you fix her unless you want her to do a litter. she is way too young to have a litter now. she should be at least 2 yr old and have appropriate testing done before breeding her. hope this helps. feel free to ask any other questions.
