Answer
Usually between about nine months up. It varies from dog to dog. Some dogs can still breed for their lifespan, alot depends on the physical condition of the dog.AKC does have rules and regs involving registering a litter of pups after the dog has reached a certain age. I would not want to breed a male dog after about the age of 12 at the outside, depending on breed. That's really pushing it as far as I am concerned.
