boxer - clear discharge.

Hi Ms. Cox,
   First off I would like to say thank you for taking time to answer questions.  I am learning so much.  My question is, I have a boxer who is 36 days pregnant.  I noticed a little discharge.  It was clear.  Not to be grotesque, but it looked like clear snot, coming out of her today.  She's full of energy, eating, everything else is just the same.  Is this normal, or should I be concerned?  Thank you for your time,   Donna

Hi Donna. It sounds normal. Many dogs get a clear discharge during pregnancy. You said she was acting fine, eating drinking, I wouldn't worry. If the discharge turns colored, or has a funky smell, then get her to the vet. Good luck, and if I can help with anything else, feel free to write! :-)
