i have a litter of 6 dough de bough pupps they are 6 days old how long should i be leaving on the mother to feed for i have been leaving them fo 20 mins a time every 2 hours is is right, they are a little constipated and have not had a poo for 1 day is  this ok or can i give them some thing that will not harm them thanks bev

Perhaps I'm not understanding your question correctly. At only 6 days of age the mother should have unlimited access to the puppies so that they can not only nurse as often as desired but also so that the mother can stimulate the puppies by licking, nuzzling, etc which aids in the puppies having consistent bowel movements. If not, you'll have to manually stimulate the puppies yourself to help them to produce bowel movements.
