shih shu unwell and of her food

hi had dog mated 17 days ago,,the last few days she as seem unwell generally and going of her food was sick once fri and then again once sat took er vets they gave her injection antibotics..didbt give reason why or what was up with her,,,just charged us 36 quid,,,so what im asking is do they go of there food and get sleepy cart be bothered so early on being pregnant ,,,

Hi Debbie. First thing I would be doing is contacting the vet to find out why he put her on antibiotics. Some dogs will change their attitudes after being bred and becoming pregant. Some girls will go off their feed, and even vomit, but this shouldn't last too long. This doesn't usually start until the dog is about 30 days in to the pregnancy, but each dog is different. If she's not eating or drinking much, and is running a temp, get her to the vet. She seems off to you, I can tell. Go with your gut, and take her to a different vet if you have to, and get her a check up just to make sure everything's ok. Good luck.
