Question
my staffie was bred august 30th and has shown all signs to be pregnant she has been having clear/white stringy discharge from her vulva for the past 3 and half weeks and only eating small amounts because time suggests shes having a false pregnancy i was just wondering is it possible weve got our dates wrong or can they have this discharge for a long time with no pups some websites suggest that the discharge is a good indicator of true pregnancy

Answer
Did you only breed her the one time?  What day of her season did you breed her?  Is this her first litter?

Gestation is 63 days from ovulation and semen can live 72 hours so keeping that in mind, she may yet deliver. I would take her for x-rays just for the peace of mind.

Good luck
