basset false pregnancy

Hi i have a basset hound who was in heat probably two in a half months ago and now she is showing signes of being pregnant but the only sign is that she is sometimes throwiing up in the morning and her breast are swelling but they have been swollen for sometime. how long to false pregnancy's last?

Mild cases usually require no treatment, and a female will return to her normal self at about 12 weeks.  Your vet can give the birth control pill Ovaban, testosterone and/or diethylstilbestrol (DES) to get her back to normal quicker.
