my dog is really skinny

My pitbull just had pups about 4-5 weeks ago. She looks really skinny, you can see her ribs and spine. She is eating alot more than she did before she was pregnant. and she has always been a very healthy dog just shy of being chubby. Is this normal? If not what can i do?

Hi. This is normal. She may also blow her coat to the point she almost looks bald. If you haven't yet, worm her. Is she still nursing? If she is, make sure she has constant access to food at all times, worm her and the pups, and you may want to pick up some Nutri-Cal. It may take her a while to get back in to shape. Good luck.
