False pregnacy/breast

I have a 18 months old boxer who is almost done with a false pregnacy. Her breasts did have milk in them and now after a month of antibiotics her breast are linking blood and her breast sac area is hard , like her breast are backer up with blood. Any ideas on how to help her??? Does this sound normal???

Caking of the breast are not uncommon. Typically vets will prescribe Ovaban, testosterone or diethylstilbestrol (DES),Bromocryptine (Parlodel) or amoxicillian. Any of these should clear her right up.

I would stand her in a bath of warm water for about 20 minutes at at time, and express them while she is standing in the water.  This will help bring down her milk and ease the pressure.  You can also massage with camphorated oil.
