Shih-poo 51 days pregnant

I just inherited this pregnant year old Shih-poo. Her temp stays mostly in the 99's. Yesterday, her temp with to 98.6 and 98.8..Than in the evening it went back to 99.7..What does this mean.. If she have her pups now, will they survive. The dog is only about 8lbs or less. I do know she has 4 pups inside from a xray..What should I look for. She is not in pain

Well if you just inherited her, you probably don't know her "normal" temp right or, I'm assuming, her due date.

Temp's can fluctuate depending on weather, if she's soaking up sunshine or sitting on the warm pavement. So if it's a bit elevated it could be something as simple as enjoying the sunshine.

The best and more accurate sign is the loss of appetite.  When that happens you know pups are coming soon.
