Question
I recently had an issue with worms. To compensate I have decided to worm my females again when they come into heat.Is this safe and can you worm them while their pregnant?

Answer
Hi Jim

It okay to worm prior to breeding and then again after they've whelped.

Some worms lay dormant in the muscle and once the hormonal changes take place with pregnancy, they "wake up".  Your best to worm shortly after she's whelped.

A low dose of Strongid T can be giving to a pup as young as a few days old.

Good luck
