slight greenish black sticky discharge

My Pom bitch is 53 days into her pregancy she is due in 10 days she has a tiny bit like 1/3 of a toothpick greenish black accumulation on her vulva hairs every two or three days.. she is very pregnant with 3 or 4 puppies.. she is eating and drinking and running around. doesn't sound to serious to the vet on the phone but hasn't seen her.. i don't think it is serious but can't remember if I have ever seen this before..Have you?

I would take her to the vet for x-rays immediately.  A black/greenish discharge can indicate infection.    If the discharge was clear or mucus there would be no cause for alarm.   

The one time I saw this color discharge, it was disaster for the entire litter.
