newborn boxer pups

Question
My dog just delivered 11 puppies, 10 born alive.  I work 8 - 5 and it seems as though she will step on or sit on or otherwise accidently kill one if we do not keep moving them.  How can I ensure all puppies live while I am at work?  AND one is very very small- under 1 lb for sure...hind legs are twisted but otherwise seems healthy.  What should I do about that one? Please give advice on whatever is pertinent that i need to do.

Answer
Hi Andrea

This statement... "hind legs are twisted but otherwise seems healthy" is an oxymoron.  If it's legs are twisted it can't possibly be healthy.

If you don't have someone responsible to look after your female and her pups while you are at work, don't expect much.

How old is your female? Boxer's are typically "high strung" when it comes to whelping.  Try giving her Bach's Rescue Remedy to calm her down, and consider having her spayed before she comes into heat again.
