hi joyce could you please help me?
i have a two year old lhasa who four weeks ago we bred with another lhasa.therehavebeen some changes in the dog like she is even more clingy,she sleeps more than ever but the main thing bothering me is that she wont eat her dry dog food and for the last week she has been very fussy!i have tried mixing her dry mix with cooked chicken to disguise her food but she only picks through it.this has been going on now nearly a week and im worried if she is pregnant that shes not eating at all dangering her puppies and herself!
what should i do any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hi John

It's common for some female's taste to change as their body changes.  What was once their favorite food is nothing something less then desirable.  Much like what your girl is experiencing now.

You may want to try another brand a fish based product will help with oils and vitamins without adding extra weight to your female.  You want to put her on a puppy formula AFTER the pups come.  When they are still growing in utero, the pups can become to large on puppy food, and your female can then experience complications in whelp.
