white german shepherd pregnant

Hi I have a white female German shepherd ( 20 months )she is now pregnant for 39 days -she breed with my male stud German shepherd-(black & tan-slope back )--I want to know do i have to feed her puppie dog food during her pregnancy and is it advisable.

No I don't recommend puppy food for the dam until AFTER the pups are whelped.  The puppy food has higher protein and it's causes the pups to grow larger in utero, which can lead to complications in delivery.

Oils, vitamin, raw kidney, heart, liver, chicken, or quality kibble are great for a expecting mother.
