breeding my chihuahua

I have a female chihuahua, I know someone with a male, she wants to mate our dogs, but what I want to know first is, will her disposition change, because she is a very friendly, loving dog right now.

as far as changing her behavior she shouldnt as long as you dont let her. what i mean by that is if she is really protective over her pups or doesnt want anybody by them you just need to insist and make sure she knows you are still in charge. this may be the time you want to baby her but really try not too! this is the only way that i see it could change her. hope this helps! feel free to ask any other questions you may have..
