my pug is a female pug who is 9 months old. i wanted to know the right age for a female pug for breeding.Her female breast have also come up and shes has been chewing things a lot. She finished her heating period a month ago so what do u suggest about the breeding process and what is the suitable age for a pug to be bred Thanks

Hi Pranav

Ideally, a female should go through her second or third heat before breeding.   It's important that the female is both mentally and physical mature before considering her as a breeder.

Pugs are notorious for being difficult breeders/whelps.  I would wait until she is 2 before even considering taking her to a male.
