Puppy separates

MinPin mother keeps taking one pup out from the litter. I put it back, only to find it out again later. Pups are 3 weeks old. What do I do? What could be wrong? Pup appears normal and healthy.

Hi. Mom's will sometimes root a pup out if she senses something wrong with it, it could be that a puppy is cooler than the others, it's weak, or it has some type of problem that we can't see. At three weeks, I don't think it's because it's cooler than the rest. I would seperate the puppy from the others for now. Make sure he stays warm and well hydrated. You may also want to take him to the vet for a check up just to make sure nothing's going on with him. Good luck.
