My lab is due to deliver today.  Yesterday she began to have a "greenish" color discharge.  This is her second litter.  Her milk is in and she is whinning and aggitated.  This began at about 4:00pm yesterday and now it is 1:45pm.  We still haven't had a puppy yet?

Hi Gayle. Any colored discharge before the birth of the first puppy isn't good. It doesn't necesseraly mean that the pups are dead, just that something is going on that needs to be addressed. You may have a dead pup, that could slow things down for the rest. I'd take her in to the vet, and see what's going on. If she's due today, then the vet may want to do a c-section.
