QUESTION: sory i am not to sure about what to do. do you hav any advice for me for when she has her puppies

Answer
Ok! Make sure she has a warm, safe, quiet place to have her puppies. Make her some kind of whelping box, and let her get use to it about a week before she has her pups. Her age is a concern, especially if she's a large breed dog. Talk to your vet about your concerns. Don't let her get fat, make sure she gets plenty of exercise. After she has her puppies, make sure she has food and water at all times. If she has any kind of colored discharge before the birth of the first puppy, call the vet. I'm going to give you a few good websites that gives plenty of detailed information on what to expect. If you do not want to breed your dog ever, you can have her fixed now. Just a thought. Good luck,a nd if I can help with anything else, let me know!
