pregnant dog not eating

I am the one with the 7 month old pregnant peekapoo that we discussed earlier....She will not eat at all! Her poop is black and hard and it isn't much at all. What can i do to get her to eat. It has been days!!!! I have tried all kinds of dog food!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!

It's perfectly normal for a pregnant dog to refuse food for a short period of time. This is very similar to "morning sickness" in humans. She may refuse food for up to a week but any longer than that & I would urge you to have your vet give her a thorough examination to rule out any unforeseen problem. You can try to encourage her to eat using a mixture of boiled rice with a little chicken or ground beef (all fat drained) & see how she tolerates that. If she's not eating it's normal that she'd have little stool to excrete.
