lahsa too early to be pregnant

Hi I have a 7month old female lhasa the just got stuck with our male lhasa. she was the runt of her litter and she weighs about 7pounds. what should I do? go to the vet ASAP? Not worry so much? thank you for your response

Hi Chris. I would definitely worry. 7 months is way too young to be having puppies. If the breeding took place within 24-48 hours, you can get her the mis-mate shot. There are also other options for you and your dog, but you need to talk to your vet about what would be safest for your girl. Good luck!
