false pregnancy?

Question
Hello, i have to ask once more about my Yorkie because Im still not sure and i want to be ready if something. She is 6-7lbs, was successfully mated 55 day ago with 3-4 male, on week 3-4 she lost appetite and started to look wider around rib cage, 2 weeks later she was bleeding a little for about week, few drops of bright red blood. She didnt want to eat a lot, she was more sleepy, but she didnt seem to be ill, she was fine. Her tummy was swollen a little more but still not big. Now she has a clear discharge from vulva, odourless, sometimes thick, sleeps most of the day, but when is up she is active. Her mammary glands started to swell at 8th week, no milk. She has all signs of pregnancy, but her belly is small like she is not pregnant, just her rib cage seems to be high. I havent been on scan with her because I heard that is not 100% anyway if there is 1-2 puppies or they are high in the rib cage, and now i really dont think she is pregnant. I just would like to know why she has clear discharge and swollen mammary glands at 8th week, I thought its sure sign of pregnancy.
Thanks a lot for anwer.

Answer
The discharge is her mucus plug.  A sign of pregnancy.  It is discharged up to 10 days prior to whelp.

X-rays would be a better indication what to expect.  She may be carrying one or two pups.

Some females milk won't come in until a day or two after whelp, some come in two weeks before, each female is different.

Good luck
