Hi l have a two year old yorkshire terrier was caught by my male on the last day of her cycle.I took her to vet twice 2 weeks.then 4th week was told she could not feel any pups. bonnie was gaining lot of weight took her today had a scan done and now found out she is haveing pups working out the dates from mateing 8th july she is 55 days. I am very concerned she eats bakers dry food and chicken. can you please advise me as to what esle l can give her. many thanks christina

Hi Christina. When you ask what else can you give her, you're talking about dog food? If she's on a good quality dog food, then you don't have to give her anything else. Keep some beef broth on hand, and you may want to get some plain vanilla icecream. Both can be given during whelping and after as a pick me up. Just melt the icecream. As for vitamins and such, as long as she's healthy and on a good food, then she shouldn't need anything else either. Talk to your vet. Good luck, and let me know if I can help with anything else.
