breeding siblings

I have a brother and sister. They are springer & water spanards. What will happen if they mate and she gets pregnant/

Hi Donna

Inbreeding should only be done with two superior animals.  Any inherent traits in the lines will come out.  Springer "Rage Syndrome", Fucosidosis, hip dysplasia, eye disorders, and cardiac abnormalities are high on the breed list of traits that will come to play in the off-spring.

You will get maybe one or two excellent pups, and the rest would be substandard.  If you plan on doing a inbreeding you should be prepared to cull the litter hard.
