birth control

We recently purchased 2 mini schnauzers. Not the same litter but only 2 days apart. Here's the problem, would prefer to wait to breed her only once at about age 2. He is going to make that hard. Do they make a doggie birth control? I don't want to have to diaper for 4 weeks. Thank you for your time.

Hi. There are a few types of birth control for dogs. However, they can have some serious side effects, and can even mess with the cycle. I know it's hard, but you may have to just keep them seperated. Talk to your vet about dog birth control, and see if he thinks one is safe enough for your dog. Good luck.
