my poor dog

My dog just had a litter of pups and sadly the whole litter died. I really can't afford a vet right now, but I feel horrible for her. is their anything I can do to help dry up her milk as there are no puppies? :( please help!

im really sorry to hear that you lost your entire litter. as long as you dont try to express milk then it should dry up fairly fast since the pups didnt nurse so she shouldnt have gotten too much milk in. if she seems depressed or on a search for thepups you can give her a small stuffed animal to "care" for. we had to do this with one of our boxers that had 2 stillborn pups. what you would do is put it near her nipples when she is laying down. do you know why the pups died? were they already dead when they were born or did they just not survive after birth? did the mom expell 1 placenta for every pup? i hope this helps.
