2 yr old and 6 year old chuahuas

QUESTION: a friend of mine just got a 6 year old female chuahuah i have a 2 year old  male chuahuah is it at all possible to breed them  will she still go into heat at 6 years or is she just past all that?

It is possible to bred at 6, smaller dogs have a longevity that the bigger dogs don't always have.

Dams are born with all the eggs they are ever going to produce.  So the older they are, the chances of healthy pups go down as the eggs age.  

Personally, I think 5 years old is the oldest a female should be bred.  They should be fixed and allowed to live healthy, happy lives as pets. Dogs don't have menopause like humans.
