Chihuahua breeding

Question
I have a 2 year old female chihuahua that I would like to mate. I have 3 male chihuahuas one is 13 months and the other 2 are 8 months. I wanted to mate my female with the year old male, but It dosn't seem he is mating right. I seperated them from the other 2 chihuahuas so they are by themselves. Is there anything I should know or do so that my female will get pregnant?

Hi Tina

Some inexperienced males just need practice.  They get over excited, try and mount the wrong end and waste all their swimmers.  You have to let him keep trying.

With a larger dog I would suggest holding the female, but with the Chi's they can be skittish and may not want the help.
