nursing dog

My staffordshire terrier had puppies 35 days ago.  About one week ago she began to have bumps like a rash show up on the left side of her face, i didnt kno if this had to do with the nursing or not, because it also looks as if she is losing some patches of her hair around her face as well.  She also seems to bite the puppies heads sometimes, not hard, but every once in a while one will cry when she does this, is that ok? should i be watching her?  All of her puppies are very healthy and doing just fine.

Hi. I would take her to the vet. that rash and hair loss needs to be checked out. A lot of times, mom will nip the pups or roll them to teach them, but biting the head isn't a good thing. I would definitely watch her around them, and have that rash looked at. good luck.
