Hello I have wrote to you a number of time because we were breeding our boston and last time it didnt work out this time she has multipual ties which ended in a sucsessfull mating. She is now 7 weeks due on the 28th and I am wondering why I cant feel any pups? Sometimes I feel a ball maybe the head.... Im just wondering when do the dogs pups gain the most weight inside the mother? I feel like she only has one pup. But she grew 4 inches in 4 days during the 5-7th week. Is it the last two weeks they balloon up? What is the size normally for a pup inside at 7 weeks? How many inches? Thanks so much here is a picture of her now. =) You have been so helpful. Also I will be getting an x-ray 5 days before her due date. But asking you seems to make me worry less. I guess Im wondering when do the mothers gain rapid weight? During the last two weeks?

You may not feel anything until a week or so prior to whelp, that's when they gain the most weight. Also, some dams carry up closer to the chest and/or behind the kidneys.
Remember to keep calm, the more anxious you are, the more she will be come.
Make sure she has a nice whelping box lined with old towels and sheets where she can safely and quietly whelp her litter.
