how do i tell if my dog is pregnant?

i just got a new 2 year old boggle. the old owners had her locked up with a male they said she could be pregnant but they are not sure. how can i tell by looking at her?

Hi Bridgett. Well, how far along should she be? If she's not far along at all, then you probably won't be able to tell yet. If she's farther along, close to her due date, then her belly should be filling out, and her nipples may be larger. She may be eating smaller meals, or act more tired than normal. The further along she gets, you should know for sure. You'll be able to feel the puppies, and such. It's kind of hard to tell for sure though, without an x-ray or ultrasound.
