Question
my dog bonnie is due december 10th she has a stringy mucas which is almost claer slightly yellow in colour coming from her. Is this normal or is it a sign of early labour. Also she was breed with my other staffie freely and i am taking this date fom the first time they tied, is this right. From my knowledge i saw them tie 4 times. She seems huge on average how many pups should we expect.

Answer
On average, you dog's breed has between 7-8 puppies. That's just an average. Yes, you count from the first time that they were bred, and count 63 days. You do this for each breeding. Are you sure she didn't breed before that? This is pretty early. Puppies born before the 58th day usually won't live. I'd take her into the vet for a check up just to be on the safe side. If I can help with anything else, let me now!
