How can I tell if my pug is pregnant?

Hi Teresa. It's hard to tell for sure if a dog is pregnant or not. Especially if she's early into it. Her behavior may change, she may become clingy. Her appitite may change, she may even get morning sickness. The thing is, a dog that is experiencing a false pregnancy may also give off these signs. You can have an ultrasound done, or wait until day 50 of the pregnancy and have some x-rays done. Those are really your only positive, for sure pregnancy signs. When she gets so far along, you can either get your vet, or an experienced person to feel for the puppies. Even that isn't a positive thing. Sadly, there really aren't any pregnancy tests for dogs. You have to have patience, and wait her out. Good luck!
