Question
Ok so about 2 weeks ago my 1 year old Husky girl had a litter of 5 full bred healthy pups(I know too young it was accidental)any ways how would I know if the pups are getting enough to eat? Would they cry all the time. I notice they cry once in awhile then just fall asleep. Im wondering if my Dam is producing enough Milk cause when I squeeze her teats I dont get Milk. Shes eating like 4 cups of High Quality Dog food called Evo and im even adding a can of food to help and shes drinking alot of water. Im just wondering how would I know there getting enough to eat. Also she doesnt sleep with them she sleeps on the side of the whelping box and goes in every couple hours to feed is that normal. Thanks sorry for the long question

Answer
Your dog needs to have food in front of her 24/7. Now is not the time to measure. She also needs more liquids like unsalted chicken broth, and some all natural cottage cheese would help her milk production greatly. Water available at all times.
Are the pups scrawny or plump and with little round tummies? Are they warm and strong and healthy? Please DO increase her food and calorie intake.  Doesn't matter where she sleeps as long as they are warm, clean and fed :)
In another two weeks you should be offering THEM food as well.
Good luck
