inducing ovulation in a dog

Hello, I have a question that you might be able to help me with.  I have a 7 year old GSD Bitch whom I would very much like to breed.  She has missed her last heat cycle and the vet can determine no problems.  I would like to know if there is a safe method availiable to induce ovulation for her.  Thank you so much for your time

Hi Kristie

Start by putting her on a good quality dog food.  Introduce fish oils (salmon, cod liver), vitamins and greens to her diet.

You can purchase full spectrum lighting at any hardware store.  Living the light on in the area where she is will help bring about her heat.
