Hi! Well you guessed right! Our boxer had her pups last night (64 days)- like you said sometime this week! My question is, how do I know if she is done giving birth? She gave birth to 2 pups about 4 hours apart. She is no longer panting or feeling restless, and I do not see her stomach contract, but she still looks a little thick to me. It has been 7 hours since her last birth. We are planning on taking her to the vet tomorrow (only appt available), but I'm worried WHAT IF there is pups in there...what are the risks and dangers at this point?

Congratulations.  Did she expel the afterbirth and both placenta's?  

If you're not sure, take her for a walk.  It will have to be on the leash as she won't want to go.  Just around the yard is good enough.  You want to encourage contractions.  Once the afterbirth is expelled, you know she's done.

The vet will give her oxytocin to make sure she's all cleaned out.
