I was wondering if you knew of any home type herbs, Or vitamins I can buy that will make My female produce more milk flow, And something that is good for the pups to she is due within 3 days. I have been giving her "Super bloom"She ran out one week ,since then she has just been eating dry food. I am very interested in finding out the right thing to do. Some told me to give her raw Beef. I was like no way...?   Worms right?? Please help asap thanks James

Wrong about the worms.  If you buy your meat at a grocery store or a butcher it is federal inspected.  Raw beef heart, kidney or ground beef is fine.  But in small quantities at first if she's not used to it.

Some females milk come in shortly after they whelp, so I wouldn't be too concerned.  Although you can give her a shot of oxytocin after she whelps.  That will bring down her milk and clear out any afterbirth.

The pups won't need to be on solids until about 3 weeks and then you can introduce them to the juice of boiled meat, goats milk, pabulum and canned dog food.
