Our Westie is having a season every 17 weeks to the day. She is 15 months old is this ok I thought they had one every 6 months

Hi Wendy. Sometimes the smaller dogs do go into heat more often. She is young, and it may take her a while to get her cycles normal. You can take her in to the vet for a check up just to make sure that everythings ok. If she keeps it up, I would anyway. If everything comes back ok, then this is just normal for her.
