my yorkie is about 10 pounds and the dad of the pups is s big dog mixed with a little dog and weighs about 15 pounds. He is a little taller than my yorkie and quite a bit longer. should i be woried about the pups being to big for her to have and is there any thing i should do to help her. thanks for any info you can give                                                                                      delayne hooks

Hi. After she hits day 50 of her pregnancy, you can have some x-rays done to see about how many there are, and if there are any really big ones that may cause problems. Also, make sure she doesn't get fat, and gets plenty of exercise. This will help with labor, and with not letting the pups get too big. However, I do suggest the x-rays since there's such a size difference between the parents, a pup may still be a little bit larger than the others. That's just about all you can do. Good luck!
