Dogs teeth

Hi I recently noticed my 10 month lab bitch is missing some incissor teeth from the upper jaw, she had them when she was smaller i mean they fell but when she grew the new set of teeth those never grew, will they grow ? and if they dont when i breed her will that be a problem with her puppys bite/jaw ???

Hi Guillermo

First you have to determine why she doesn't have them or are they impacted behind?  Some dogs carry a mutation for missing teeth.

Retained baby teeth and teeth out of alignment can cause malocclusion and gum injury.  Most bite problems are hereditary so chances of the pups carrying it are strong.
