Homemade puppy formula?

HI! Its me again :)
the lady with the jack russel mix puppies.
well we had to rush the momma to the vet at 2am early this morning because she was shaking horribly and breathing really weird and the vet said the puppies were draining her of her calcium so bad it was making her sick. and i couldnt wait til morning or we would have lost her with how bad she was so now he wants me to feed 3 of the 6 pups for her during the day time and only let them feed from her threw the night. so now i have seen so many receipes for homemade puppy formula and i was just wondering if it would be ok and sufficiant enough to feed them that instead of store bought puppy formula (which is a bit above my budget).

Hi. Glad mom is ok. A lot of people use homemade formulas, and the pups do just fine. Some people even use goats milk, so if you can find that, it may work for you. Good luck, and let me know if I can help with anything else, can't wait to see those pics!
