You should probably have read up on it BEFORE it was time for the A.I.   What you need on hand is a female that's in season, a Ziplock bag, Vaseline, syringes and tubing, catheters work best.

Once the male is ready you need to grip him firmly.  It's important not to tug, pull, squeeze or jerk.  You just want to hold his penis behind the "knot".  Collect the semen into the bag.  Once he starts to deflate, load it up in the syringe.  Insert the catheter gently into the female -- you want to ensure the edges are not rough or sharp or they will cut the female up.   Depress the syringe into the catheter and Bob's Your Uncle.
