English Bulldog Coats

i am looking into getting an english bulldog. i found the most loveable puppy at a reasonable price. however, it has coat i've never seen on that breed. it's quite fluffy. is this a sign that the dog is mixed with another breed? although the price is reasonable for a bulldog, it's not a quantity i'd spend on just any dog.

Hi Thelma. English Bulldogs have a smooth, flat coat. I'm not sure why this puppy would have a 'fluffy' coat. Sometimes, young pups have kind of a fluffy coat, but all Bulldog pups that I have seen had a smooth one. I am going to give you a good link, that has pictures of puppies.
