chihuahua whelps

My chi has just had her first litter. She's relatively small - about 4.5 lbs but had them naturally, although by my reckoning they were a week early. however to me they seem tiny - the two girls are about 3ozs (today at 2days) and the boy is only 1 7/8 ozs. Tehy're suckling, the two girls certainly are getting their fair share but is this a normal weight for Chihuahuas? They just seem so TINY

My female Chi is 4 lbs and her pups were approximately the same weights as your litter.  After a few weeks they "appeared" to be as long as my female and after raising large dogs, the little ones seemed like rodents.  

Not to worry they are on track.
