62 days pregnant

QUESTION: My boxer is 62 days pregnant , at 8 am this morning her temp was 98.5 then at 1:30 pm her temp. was 97.6 and then at 9:30 pm it is back up to 99.7. She is wanting to sleep none stop, is this normal ?

All normal. All good.

Her temp can change from something as simple as sleeping in the sunshine.  That would raise it, after drinking water, that would lower it.

When she quits eating and starts nesting, then you can start pacing.

QUESTION: My boxer's is 62 days pregnant her  temp. went from 98.5 at 8 am yesterday to 99.7 by 9:30 pm yesterday , now i check it this morning at 7:30 am and it's 98.4. She did have some slimy stuff coming from her after she used the bathroom, but no real sign's of labor , she is sleeping all day !!!!!!!! Is this normal ??????? And can i expect puppies really soon ?

The "slimy stuff" is her mucus plug.  Again no need for panic.   

You want her to sleep and get all her rest now, because when the pups come, there won't be much. Sleeping is normal.

The thing with taking her temperature is that you have to know what her body temp is when she's NOT pregnant.  Does she fluctuate? Is it higher or lower?

Another small point, is she is 62 days from her first or last mating? Was she ovulating on the day she was bred? How many pups is she carrying?  

All these questions will contribute to her "length" of pregnancy.  When her appetite is gone and she's nesting, you can starting boiling water.
