puppy prices

I have bred my female husky with a champion show male and was wondering what the appropriate price to sell the puppies at would be.  My female has not been shown but has many champions in her blood line.  I've asked the breeder I used to stud with and she recommended about $500 per pup and depending on marking and eye coloration possibly more.  Does that price seem too high or low?

I don't breed my dogs, so I can't help too much there, but I bought both of my dogs on a restricted contract as pets (required they be fixed and not shown/bred).  The male was $600 and the female $500.  I've heard similar prices for non-show dogs.  As for show, I don't have any experience there to draw from.  Hope that helps some!
