Question
How do we train a husky??? How many times do we feed him? How do we stop him from crying in his kennel at night. And he is pooping all night long WHY!!! First at 1:00am and then at 4:00am. He is great with our other dogs. We have a very big yard. he is out alot. But when he sleeps with my daughter he is always poops alot. What should we do.

Answer
I would take a poop sample, and the puppy to the vet... If they poop a lot their is usually 1 of 2 things wrong.
1) The puppy is Ill. It can be, worms, coccidia, gearrdia, distemper (if not UTD on shots) among other things.
2) The puppy could be on food upsetting its tummy. Switch to a higher quality food. Siberians should not have Soy, Wheat, Corn or beet juice in their diet.
Another thing I would like to mention is that if you just got him not to long ago he could have the poops from stress because of a change in environment.

To keep him from crying in his kennel you need to get him used to it first. During the day time put him in the kennel from time to time with the door open and give him a treat such as a rawhide, a Kong, or an everlasting treat ball. Keeping the door open each time slowly back farther and farther away from the kennel until they stay in the kennel without being concerned about you leaving or where you are going. Remember only give him the rawhides and such when he is in the kennel. It is a special treat for the kennel area only. When he has this mastered you might want to close the door, but don't latch it, and repeat the same exercise. When he has this mastered, repeat the same steps with the door locked. If he screams, DON'T LET HIM OUT. If you do you are tell him screaming=freedom. You wait for the puppy to be quiet, if even for a second, to let him out. If you aren't in the room wait outside the room until he is quiet. If you step in and he screams, stop moving. You can never award a behavior that you don't want.

I will add, your breeder should of been able to answer these questions for you. Any good breeder should be able to be reached by phone to answer any question that you have regarding the puppy. Any breeder understands that they are responsible from birth to grave for each puppy that comes out of their kennel.
